Devlog 6
Welcome to our sixth devlog from GND Interactive
This is our sixth development devlog, where we focus on level design, fixing issues with the main mechanics, main menu, and final boss.
Since the last Devlog
Since the last devlog, we have been focusing on the following tasks:
- Fix sync problems (boss & players)
- Death animations for players
- Health bar for players & Countdown
- Improves at main menu
- Fix win and loss loop
- Boss aggro only for alive players
What are we working on now?
We are currently working on fixing various bugs in the main menu and the final boss encounter to ensure a smoother and more polished experience. One of our main priorities has been improving combat clarity and balance—specifically by correcting how mobs deal damage to players, which previously led to inconsistent gameplay moments. The final boss is also receiving a major upgrade with new attack patterns and behaviors that will challenge players to adapt and react in creative ways.
In parallel, we've begun level design for Level 2, introducing new mechanics and environmental challenges that will push the player’s skills further. We're also experimenting with new revival systems that give players a second chance in battle, while still maintaining the tension and stakes of each encounter. These additions are part of our broader goal to deliver more dynamic, strategic, and rewarding fights for our main characters as the game progresses. More updates coming soon as we refine these systems and bring the next stage of the game to life!
