Devlog 2


Welcome to the second devlog from GND Interactive.

In this update, we'll dive into the recent progress made in our game's development, specifically focusing on camera movement and creating level boundaries to face off against enemy hordes. We're also discussing the selection of the FIRST BOSS of the game 👀. Additionally, we've been working on fixing some visual issues with the player animations, as they seemed to have had a bit too much caffeine!

Since the last Devlog

We've been focusing on the following tasks:

  • Camera movement.

  • Defining level boundaries.

What are we working on now?

Currently, we are focusing on completing the first level of our game, as well as finalizing the overall aesthetic, aiming for the steampunk style we envision. Here's a list of what we are currently working on:

  • Complete level design.

  • Art design consistent with the game's theme and lore.

  • Creation of the game's main gameplay loop.

  • Development of the first boss.

Victory/Defeat Conditions

Victory in the first level will be achieved by defeating the boss at the end of the level, after overcoming the initial enemy hordes.
